The objective for this approximately 3500 square foot space is to create a safe place that encourages good health, exploratioin, early learning, parent involvement, and fosters a supportive community. Local Architect Chris Sias, and aInterior Designer, Amy Muniz have been working collaboratively to develop a concept that will enhance the existing space with a significat and meaningful entry to define the area and integrate textures, vibrant tones, and a connection to nature.
The Children’s Area will include a service area independent of the main circulation desk, a self checkout station, enhancement of staff workspace, a focused play area for toddlers, a place for gatherd story time in an ADA compliant area, and new flooring throughout the space.
